Car Shows & Cruises last updated 8-12-05

Following is a listing of area cruise nights and car shows.

Weather permitting, most cruise nights begin at 4 p.m. and run until dusk. Many clubs provide disc jockey entertainment and present trophies, awards and other prizes.

CRUISE NIGHTS

MONDAYS

CAR SHOWS

  • 17th annual Mustang Memories All Ford-Powered Car Show and Swap Meet, hosted by Mustang Owners Club of Southeastern Michigan, today at Greenmead Historical Park at the southwest corner of Newburgh Road and 8 Mile Road, Livonia. More than 400 show cars expected and more than 150 awards, vendors and car corral, music, food, and historic building tours.   • Lincoln Park Police Benefit Car Show 2005, Aug. 28 during Lincoln Park Days at Youth Center Park, corner of Dix and Gregory, Lincoln Park.  Registration will be held 8 to 11 a.m. and show will be noon to 4 p.m. with awards presented at 3 p.m.  Dash plaques and goodie bags to first 200 entries.
