Weather permitting, most
cruise events begin at 4 p.m. and run until dusk. Many clubs provide
disc jockey entertainment and present trophies, awards and other prizes.

Cruisin’ Dearborn, presented by the Dearborn
Chamber of Commerce, 6:45 p.m. Aug. 4 from Dearborn Police headquarters
to Dearborn’s Ford Field. Cruise will last about 30 minutes followed by
a car show at the Dearborn Homecoming festival.
Cruise is only open to first 200 cars that register
for this free event. Car owners may register by visiting

Fifth annual Wheels of Time Classic Car Show,
to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 6 at
Huroc Park on the river off Huron River Drive in Flat Rock. Rain date is
Aug. 13.
Registration of $20 per
car begins at 8 a.m. day of show. Advance registration of $15 can be
made before July 28 at Wheels of Time weekly cruise nights on Mondays
